The Knights Templar in Templetown, Co Wexford

The lands along the western shore of Wexford were granted to the Knights Templars in 1172 by King Henry II. They set up Templetown as their headquarters. Visitors can wander around the tower and church. The date of the tower is unclear, but the church was built in the early 1800s.
