Knitwear by Edel MacBride: Convoy, Co Donegal

by | Jul 12, 2012 | Arts & Crafts, Donegal | 1 comment

Edel MacBride lists among Donegal’s celebrated contemporary fashion designers. She’s even gotten the attention of actors Sarah Jessica Parker and Aiden Quinn, but she’s modest about such things and would much rather talk about great yarn and colors and designs than celebrities.

In her studio, shop, and school, visitors can enjoy items ranging from simple knit accessories to elaborate evening wear. It’s worth a stop if you’re looking for beautiful Irish-designed and Irish-made knit or crocheted clothing.
