North Texas Irish Festival

An Irish heritage festival in the shadow of the Cotton Bowl in Dallas — somehow that always makes me smile — the North Texas Irish Festival is a major festival in the American South. Just about every international headliner in Irish music has played the festival, and regularly returns, and there’s always a full slate of regional Celtic talent on tap as well, along with Irish food vendors, representatives from Tourism Ireland, and all sorts of additional activities.

The Festival takes place in and around the buildings of Fair park, so even if March weather in Texas doesn’t cooperate, festival goers can still enjoy the events.
