Sandy Seaside Inlet: Adara, Co Donegal

by | Jun 7, 2012 | Donegal, Scenic Spots

The beach near Ardara features a very long inlet with villages all along it and a wonderful rock outcropping that gets slammed by the waves on a windy day. On the other side of the inlet is the Eos Waterfall and Maghera sea caves – with a surreal exploration into 7 foot tall sand dunes to find them.

Ardara is a small town on the west coast of County Donegal. It is a very walkable, friendly place, with great pubs and stunning sites nearby.
