by | Jan 25, 2011 | Dublin City, Festivals Worldwide

Almost any time of year you can find crowds of folk checking out the pubs and the sights and each other in the trendy city center of Dublin known as Temple Bar. For several days at the end of January, though, things take on a turn toward traditional music, as top acts from across Ireland and the north, and some from overseas, fill venues ranging from the area’s mnay pubs to  to Christ Church Cathedral with their music, Headliners in the past have included Tommy Sands and Altan. Long a weekend event, in 2013 the festival will be extending its offerings into the weekdays as well.
