Carrigafoyle Castle on the Banks of the Shannon: Ballylongford, County Kerry

We were wandering around the area, slowly making our way down from the ferry at Tarbert to Dingle, our stop for the evening. On the way, we explored some castles and abbeys. One that we came upon by accident was Carrigafoyle, which we saw across the river and had to go see. It was like its mouth was open, gaping wide and ready to eat anyone foolish enough to come close!
