St. Columba’s Well – Stations of Sainthood: Glencolmcille, Co Donegal

Nearby the lovely Glencolmcille Folk Village, if you drive to the other side of the bay and up the promontory, you can find St. Colmcille’s Well and the other holy stations associated with St. Colmcille and his journeys. There are signs that lead you from sacred spot to sacred spot. Even if you are uninterested with the spirituality of the location, the views, on the wild coast of south Donegal, are spectacular, looking over a teeming ocean.
